π Opsgenie
Opsgenie plays a key role in notifying our team of such occurrences. Each alert description within Opsgenie includes information on the appropriate actions to take and whom to escalate the issue to, based on that specific alert's details.
This page should summarize the contents of the folder. The details below should be placed into a file of there own.

Search bar & Filtersβ
On the Alert's page, an agent can use the search bar to find a desired alert or an alert type. Additionally, on the left side, predefined filterings are handy. Particularly, the "Centurion open production" filter helps significantly when there are too many active alerts to deal with and it's time-consuming to scroll through alerts. Even though it is a rare scenario, when the market is highly volatile (such as during a black swan event or market crash), every second counts.
Alerts are prioritized from P1 (highest urgency) to P5 (lowest urgency). An alert should be treated based on its priority. For further information, check Approaching an alert.

Monitoring Scheduleβ
Who is on-call can be seen through Opsgenie as well. Every agent's schedule is planned. If there is an issue with the shift hours etc. the agent should reach out to the Monitoring Team Leader (UNKNOWN).

Notes & Attachmentsβ
After viewing an alert, an agent can leave a note or post a picture for the intended alert. This function can be used for various cases, such as informing others about a minor issue related to the alert or posting a screenshot of an RPC URL's current status, etc.

Resolved Alertsβ
π΄ THIS ALERT CAN BE CLOSED π΄
This message indicates that the worker has determined that the conditions of the alert (shown below the message) no longer exist. As such, the alert can be closed. However, if the alert is not closed before the worker's next run cycle and the conditions return, the message is removed, and the alert's description is updated. The red icon π΄ will also appear on the alert list view page for each alert that is closable.
Creating an alertβ
Opsgenie provides an option to create an alert and send a notification, mobile call, or email to any colleague through its service. Every Monitoring Agent must know how to create an alert through Opsgenie since, for P1/P2 alerts, it is one of the fastest and most effective ways to contact the targeted colleague.
The "Create alert" button is located in the top right corner of the page, above the search bar.

Click "Create alert", and on the opened page, fill in the following:
| API Integration | Alert Message | Priority | Responders | Tags |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Default API | Should be short and understandable, such as "Urgent P1 ALERT" or "Critical Wallet Balances" | P1/P2 | Responder(s) name: Burak, Bedirhan, etc. | Should be left blank |
After creating the alert, it should be verified that the alert has reached the targeted member. This is visible through the Activity Log on the sent alertβs page.
